An exciting opportunity for Practitioner has arisen in SPOC (Single Point of Contact team) in our Recovery Near You service in Wolverhampton. Your challenge? To provide advice, screening, brief and comprehensive assessments with individual, families or couples using our service. You will also provide brief interventions, offer support to our service users and make referrals if necessary. Maintaining written records and data as well as participation in service promotion and liaising with agencies are also key elements of the role.
An energetic and confident self‐starter, you have a qualification in health/social care, youth and community care (e.g. NVQ Level 3 or above, DipSW, Mental Health Nursing, Counselling, Addiction Studies). Alternatively, we’ll consider candidates with experience of working in the substance misuse field with a commitment to complete NVQ Level 3 Health and Social Care. You will have experience in disseminating and communicating appropriate substance misuse information to professionals and sharing best practice. You should also have experience of partnership working as well as the ability to maintain constructive relationships with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders from a wide range of services and disciplines. What’s more, you have a flexible approach, a commitment to the principles of confidentiality and the ability to write client records and report and fulfil data requirements.
The salary for this post is £21,664.00 with progression to £24,000.00 per annum.
This is a this is a fixed term post that ends on 31 August 2022.
This is a full‐time post requiring the post‐holder to work 37 hours per week.
