- Collaborate with the website team to update membership pages.
- Use Mailchimp to communicate membership benefits and promotions.
- Design print materials and merchandise using Canva.
- Other Duties (10%):
- Engage with the RAS Digital Communications Manager to promote membership.
- Support the Events Manager with membership-related tasks.
Person Specification:

Compensation & Benefits:

Bristol Old Vic’s Fundraising and Development Department is responsible for building financial sustainability for BOV through securing external funding from individuals, corporates and trusts and foundations.
The Development Officer: Individuals & Corporates will secure income from individuals, through our giving schemes and major gifts, and corporate sponsors who support productions, engagement and community work and the newly formed literary department. You will steward existing donors to the highest standard and conduct proactive research into potential individual and corporate supporters as well as preparing presentations and proposals to secure their support. This role is vital to the current Transforming Fundraising Strategy as it will work to cultivate and steward individual support and corporate partnerships and provide accurate, targeted research to help shape our wider campaigns and approaches. As part of this role, you will also produce, briefing notes and due diligence reports for, the Director of Fundraising and Development (post to be appointed), BOV leadership team and Trustees.
The Development Officer: Trusts & Foundations will research potential Trust and Foundation supporters and work with colleagues to prepare compelling, successful grant applications. You will develop and steward a portfolio of Trusts and Foundations and establish a pipeline to ensure continued, growing support from them for our programming and engagement work. As the Senior Individual Giving Officer you will work be responsible for shaping and delivering fundraising campaigns to achieve income and growth. Focusing on both acquisition and retention, this role will work across and deliver engaging supporter appeals and ensure excellent supporter stewardship. Working closely with the Individual Giving Manager and wider team, this role will have great support and development opportunities.
To be successful as the Senior Individual Giving Officer, you will have previous fundraising experience in a similar role within the charity sector. This person will also need to evidence excellent stewardship capabilities and relationship building skills.
This role is a full-time permanent position that will have hybrid working in the London offices two days per week. The salary for this role is up to £35,000.

The Role
As a Personal Assistant, you will provide support to two of our Directors and our Chief Financial Officer.

Arts Emergency, a mentoring charity and support network aiming to address the inequalities in the creative and cultural sectors, is looking for an experienced and motivated fundraiser to provide leadership and management for fundraising activities.
Since 2013, Arts Emergency has been providing 16-25 year olds in London, Greater Manchester, Merseyside and beyond with a trained mentor working in their field of interest. Mentors help Young Talent set goals, explore their passions and make decisions about higher education, training and careers. After they complete a year of mentoring, Young Talent can continue to access opportunities, advice, resources and paid work from the Arts Emergency Network until they turn 26. The network is made up of thousands of cultural professionals who’ve all offered to share crucial gateways into hard to crack industries like TV, publishing and architecture with young people.
This position will be responsible for raising the necessary income to ensure Arts Emergency’s high-quality, person focused, asset-based services for young people are sustainably funded and can
scale. This is a new role that reports to the Director of Fundraising & Marketing, overseeing a diverse income portfolio including individual giving, major donors, trusts and foundations, corporate donations, commercial income and community fundraising. The Head of Fundraising will have a particular focus on managing and growing the charity’s income from individuals and organisations, with an aim to increase overall fundraising to £1.25m in 2026.
