We are recruiting for a Societies Development Coordinator to engage students in activities and opportunities that support personal and professional development while studying at University of the Arts London. You will be responsible for developing student societies within a creative university, supporting our elected Activities Officer in running targeted events; bringing students from a diverse range of creative disciplines and backgrounds together across courses and colleges to collaborate, support each other and build communities.
This role is ideal for anyone who has hands-on experience of working with young people or students, within community development projects, or with volunteers in an arts organisation or within the education sector. The ideal candidate will have an enthusiastic and a high energy approach to their work with excellent organisation and communication skills. Candidates should be passionate about getting people engaged, have ability to build relationships quickly, a reputation for being reliable and trustworthy and can work well on their own and as part of a team.
