We are really excited to be working with a NHS charity who are looking for a Philanthropy Manager to join their fundraising team. Last year, there was a real spotlight on NHS charities and the important work they played during the pandemic. As a result, this charity is looking to bolster their high value team to capitalise on this potential area of income. This is an organisation that supports hospitals through grants, arts, volunteering, and fundraising. They fund major re-developments, research, and medical equipment.
As part of this role, you will be working with trusts and foundations, corporate partners, and major donors to drive forward income in these areas, however the main focus will be on working with major donors. You will play an integral part in developing and implementing fundraising strategies, whilst working closely with other teams to maximise cross-collaboration.
You will need:
- Experience of securing high level of funding (5-6 figures) from high-net-worth individuals
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- An understanding of fundraising in the NHS or charities/health related organisations
