Job description

We are pleased to be working with a health charity who are looking for a Philanthropy Officer to join their Philanthropy and Partnerships function. You will be joining a phenomenal charity with a successful and ambitious Philanthropy and Partnerships team. This role is perfect for somebody who wants to grow their career in high value fundraising and relationship management, whilst working in a place that is committed to your learning and development.

The charity are looking for a proactive and resourceful individual who had a proven track record of managing positive relationships with donors, supports or other stakeholders. You will be required to manage a portfolio of high value supporters and prospects and being able to maximise the impact of their support. You’ll work closely with the Senior Development Manager and Senior Relationship Manager to support the growth of the philanthropy pipeline. They are happy to consider someone from the commercial sector or another fundraising stream where you can demonstrate transferable skills. This is a varied and exciting role that is perfect for someone looking to take their next career step.

You will need:

  • Proven ability of managing positive relationships with supporters
  • Project management skills with the ability to work well under pressure
  • Ability to communicate sensitively and efficiently with supporters who have been affected by illness
  • Persuasive and effective writing style with a keen eye for detail

Location: London

Salary: £28,500-£32,000
