We are excited to be working with a fantastic health charity who are looking for a Senior Community and Events Manager to join their fundraising team on a 1 year fixed-term contract (maternity cover). Community and Events plays an important role in the charity’s fundraising strategy and they are looking for a confident, proactive team player to take responsibility for the planning and ongoing development of their existing programmes and new initiatives.
As part of your role, you will be working collaboratively with various fundraising teams to lead on the development and delivery of multi-channel mass acquisition and retention strategies that will achieve a transformational change in donor numbers and their lifetime value, in line with the mass market fundraising strategy.
The successful candidate will need:
- Experience of mass fundraising, community or event management in the charity sector, specifically virtual event experience
- Proven management experience leading a team of at least three
- Demonstrable experience of building and managing successful supporter journeys that maximises income in the short and long term
- Excellent track record of meeting income targets and generating new income
Closing Date: 17th October 2020
Salary: £40,000 - £44,000
