About Us

ACH (Ashley Community Housing) is a social enterprise that provides a range of integration and support services for refugees. During the past ten years, we’ve grown from a small-scale housing organisation to a leading provider of integration, employment and housing services for refugees and newly arrived communities in the UK.

We are now looking for a Housing and Support Manager to join our team at our brand-new offices in Birmingham.

The Benefits

- Salary of £30,000 - £35,000 per annum (dependent upon qualifications and/or experience)
- Mobile phone and laptop
- 20 days’ holiday plus Bank Holidays

This is an exciting opportunity for someone at junior manager or technical senior level to step into a fully-fledged management position and create positive change.

Joining us at an exciting period of growth, you’ll have the chance to utilise your expertise to shape current and future operations, ensuring our services inform and empower tenants.

The focus of this role will be the relationships you create rather than the volume in your portfolio. So, if you’re ready to take on a new challenge where you’ll focus on quality, not quantity, we want to hear from you.

The Role

As a Housing and Support Manager, you will lead and support the delivery of all tenant housing and support operations in Birmingham and Wolverhampton.

Leading the West Midlands Housing and Support team, you will build new customer relationships, increase our network and ensure our existing connections stay strong.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, your role will involve:

- Directly managing 10 - 15 team members
- Ensuring operations meet legal requirements
- Increasing tenant empowerment and maximising rental income
- Generating new business
- Effectively using networks and forums to build a recognisable profile and brand
- Managing and developing relationships with new and existing landlords
- Enhancing your team’s capabilities, capacity and efficiency through process development
- Managing property and housing maintenance, management and caretaking services
- Achieving targets for all tenant housing and support operations

About You

To join us as a Housing and Support Manager, you will need:

- To have experience as a Housing Manager or Team Leader within a housing support environment
- Experience of either leading or being part of a project
- The ability to demonstrate a solid track record within housing
- Strong leadership and motivational skills

Other organisations may call this role Property and Support Manager, Housing Support Manager, Housing Project Manager, Housing Manager, Tenancy Manager, Tenancy Support Manager, Property Manager, or Lettings Manager.

This is a full-time role, working 9am – 5pm, Monday – Friday.
