We’re Breast Cancer Now, the UK’s largest breast cancer charity – and we’re dedicated to funding research into this devastating disease. We believe that if we all act now, by 2050, everyone who develops breast cancer will live.
You will be a senior leader who will lead the development of our Digital Strategy and develop and empower a digital audience both internally and externally to support growth in engagement, income and impact. Reporting to our Director of Communications and Engagement and as an influential member of the Communications Management Team, you will be responsible for organising people and teams to transform strategy and its execution and continue the journey we have embarked on to create a culture of embedding digital expertise, insight, learning and innovation.
You will have a proven record of developing a strategic approach to digital and engagement and have an excellent understanding of the digital impact on the work of the charity. To do this you will have proven senior leadership experience of high performing, agile digital teams and functions within the not for profit sector. Combined with creative and technical flair in existing and emerging technologies to shape and deliver digital business solutions.
You will be a motivational leader with the ability to collaborate effectively with others to make informed decisions, and lead and develop a team of digital professionals. Operationally you will have experience of preparing and managing operational plans and budgets within the context of an organisational strategic plan and be educated to degree level.
