Avon Wildlife Trust and Wiltshire Wildlife Trust are looking for enthusiastic and motivated environmental professionals to be part of a new project.
If you are enthusiastic about delivering change for wildlife, we’d like to hear from you!
This is a rare and exciting opportunity to become involved in an innovative and ambitious project. The Bristol Avon Catchment Market brings public and private finance together to deliver nature recovery projects and generate revenues from environmental services that can fund nature recovery into the future.
We are recruiting two teams to work with landowners in West Wiltshire and North Somerset to develop nature recovery projects:
Two dynamic and innovative Team Managers will lead the teams to identify suitable project sites and design and deliver projects to maximise benefits for wildlife and deliver nature-based solutions.
Two Delivery Managers will work outdoors leading a team of Wessex Water’s Kickstart staff, and supervise contractors and volunteers to carry out practical land management tasks such as tree planting and pond creation.
Two experienced Ecologists will undertake a range of habitat and species baseline surveys, prepare management plans and produce maps.
In addition, we are looking for a part-time Communications Officer to design materials suitable for internal and external audiences. This role will work with our existing communications teams to develop key messages relating to the project and its relationship to our wider nature recovery work.
If you’re looking to build your skills and experience in nature-based solutions and environmental markets and you’re passionate about working in partnership for nature please visit our website for more information about all seven roles!
