Job description

SeeScape (the operational name for Fife Society for the Blind) is the leading charity provider of support services for people with a visual impairment in Fife. The Charities aim is to empower people with visual impairment to live safely, independently and achieve their personal goals.  A range of services are on offer as part of a one-stop-shop approach, including information and advice, rehabilitation, assistive technology training, befriending and social groups. There is also an Opticians, allowing the charity to take a person-centred approach towards eye care, linking clients directly to other services as required.

The key purpose of the Fundraising Manager role is to maintain and further develop the trust and foundations and individual giving income streams. With a flair for identifying and cultivating opportunities for income maximisation, the Fundraising Manager will also engage in a range of other fundraising activities as required.

This exciting and varied post would suit applicants with excellent communication and organisational skills. Due to Covid19 this is a home based position, however some travel to Fife would be required to meet with funders, potential donors and supporters. 

This is a great opportunity for a Fundraiser with existing Trust and IG experience or for an individual looking to gain experience in different areas of Fundraising. Enthusiasm packaged with exceptional inter personal skills is a must!
