Capital AccountantLocation: Central LondonContract: PermanentSalary: Up to £50K- 55K + BenefitsBadenoch + Clark Housing Team are proud to be partnering with a thriving G15 housing association based in Central London to appoint a Capital Accountant within the finance team.In this newly created role and your responsibilities will include maintaining the Group's fixed asset register, monthly management accounts in relation to tangible and intangible assets and ensuring all financial controls related to asset accounting are adhered to.The RoleKey Responsibilities:*Administration of capital asset program by performing periodic audits, tagging assets for tracking purposes and assigning proper acquisition values*Annual capital expenditure budget preparation*Consistent management of depreciation schedules*Dealing with reactive and planned maintenance*Calculate depreciation for all fixed assets using excel modelsPerson Specification*Ideally experience from with Public Sector, Government or Housing exposure *Educated to degree level *Fully qualified CCAB accountant*You will have professional gravitas to influence stakeholders at a senior level and generally strong skills in negotiation and persuasion. *You will understand how to act commercially within a not-for-profit business and act as a role model for the company values*Demonstrable experience of effective project management*Excellent verbal and written presentation skillIf you a qualified accountant with fixed asset or capital accounting experience who is looking for a new career opportunity please do get in touch with your most recent CV for immediate consideration.
