Salary: 60-65K + Benefits
Location - South London

Badenoch + Clark are pleased to be working on a retained basis on behalf of a reputable South London based charity leading on the provision of care and support for adults with severe disabilities and complex medical conditions.

As Director of Finance & Resources, you will be offered the opportunity to lead the management of the organisation's financial and business resources, including the leadership of the central services team. Playing an integral role in the charities' overall future growth ambitions you will form part of a small Executive Team led by a forward thinking and ambitious Chief Executive and Board. You will be given the reigns to lead the development and implementation of the charity's finance and workforce development strategies, ensuring that the charity maximises value in the deployment of its resources.

Responsibilities include:
*Develop and maintain timely and accurate financial statements and reports for the Chief Executive and the Board, and interpret financial performance reports in line with Key Performance Indicators
*Oversee budget and forecast preparation, and prepare the annual budget in consultation with the Chief Executive to support the charity to achieve an annual surplus
*Prepare all supporting information for the annual audit and external auditors as necessary.
*Ensure that the appropriate financial processes are in place to meet all relevant regulatory and accountancy requirements
*Manage the central services department including a small Finance Team, property services, HR and Operations
*Review and monitor contracts with external maintenance and service providers ensuing best value and quality.

This opportunity demands an ambitious individual with the desire to take on a broad responsibility providing a role fundamental in shaping the strategy of the charity.

The successful applicant will be a Qualified Accountant, hold considerable experience within a in a senior financial management position and possess an understanding of charity governance and the regulatory environment in which they operate in.
