Join - Barnardo's Somerset Domestic Abuse Service.

Various hours available 7.4/week - Full time.

Do you want to be part of building a brand-new service that will change lives?

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of building a brand new service for children, young people and their safe carers who are in safe accommodation within Somerset due to their experiences of domestic abuse.

This is a new contract won by Barnardo's and funded by Somerset County Council. The initial contract runs until 31 May 2023.

We are looking for someone with a proven track record of working closely with families affected by trauma and abuse.

You will hold a caseload within this role as well as supporting group work interventions. We are looking for applicants with a track record of delivering trauma informed interventions to children and their families.

The post will be based at our Taunton office but work across the Local Authority area of Somerset.

Although this contract has a permanent status, please be aware that this post is subject to funding currently to 31/05/2023 and therefore should this funding not be extended further, you may be subject to a redundancy consultation or a TUPE arrangement.

This contract is due to expire on 31 May 2023.
