Do you want to be part of a brand new innovative Early Intervention and Prevention Service for children and young people with a learning disability and/or autism in Manchester?

Can you provide creative solutions, strategies and individualised support to achieve positive outcomes supporting families/foster placements to cope and beyond that to thrive?

We are in the process of opening a new home and are recruiting children and young people's residential keyworkers to work within the new home and in partnership with our existing outreach team.

Barnardo's Early Intervention and Prevention Service is a new service commissioned by Manchester City Council to deliver high quality bespoke support to children and young people with learning disabilities and/or autism within their home environment , helping to keep families together .

As a part of the support plan, children and young people may have a short stay at our residential home to develop and embed strategies, such as communication , positive behavioural support and sensory regulation that can then be transferred to their home environment . The home can accommodate a maximum of 5 children and young people.
