Job description

BBC Children in Need has an exciting opportunity for a Head of High Value Partnerships to join us here at Pudsey HQ on a permanent basis.

This is a vital leadership role in the Commercial team to inspire support and deliver income to help us to ensure we can find and fund projects across the UK to help children and young people to thrive.

Working closely with the wider commercial leadership team and colleagues across the organisation, you will be responsible for developing and implement the High Value Partnerships strategy to continue to grow income from corporate partnerships and philanthropy, with an annual target of c£12M. 

The location of the role is flexible, however you will be required to travel to either our Salford office (M50) or London office (W12) on a regular basis. 

First round interviews are expected to take place w/c 5th July 2021. 

BBC Children in Need is the BBC’s UK Charity, and exists to make a positive difference to the lives of disadvantaged children and young people across the UK.  Our refreshed objectives and activities will ensure the impact we have on children’s lives is front and centre of the work the charity undertakes over and above the projects and services we fund.

Main Responsibilities

This role leads and manages the corporate partnerships and philanthropy teams for BBC Children in Need. Responsible for senior stakeholder relationships, strategy development and delivery and the acquisition and retention of new partners and donors.

You will have exceptional interpersonal skills, and the credibility and confidence to win support from decision-makers at the highest levels.
