Children's Services Assistant

Beacon Counselling is a registered charity that exsits to improve mental health and well-being for all. 

This is a fantastic opportunity to be at the heart of Beacon’s Children’s Services. Working closely with the Deputy CEO & Children’s Services Manager you will support the the implementation of new Children and Young People’s Services and the development of exiting services. Alongside supporting the Children’s Services Team (Counsellors, Youth Engagement Workers and Emotional Wellbeing Workers)

We are looking for an individual who is an experienced administrator with a passion for services that support children and young peoples' emotional wellbeing.

You will be comfortable communicating with a variety of individuals, confident in report writing and have excellent IT skills.

We are looking for someone who is flexible and motivated to succeed through working autonomously and with others, has high standards of work, and is passionate about developing services that support children, young people and their families.

Key objectives of the role: 

• Supporting the Children’s Services Manager in the smooth running and development of children’s services
• Dealing with queries from Team members
• Being a first point of contact for external stakeholders
• Producing monthly and quarterly reports
