Emotional Wellbeing and Mental Health Worker

Job description

The Compass project enables young people access to emotional wellbeing and mental health support, Working closely with the Children's Services Manager and Schools teams, you will support young people both in person and remotely using a digital platform.

We are looking for an individual who has experience working with young people and a passion for improving their mental health, well-being and resilience. You will be comfortable communicating and presenting to a variety of audiences, and have experience facilitating individual sessions with young people.

We are looking for someone who is flexible and motivated to succeed through working autonomously and with others, has high standards of work, and is passionate about seeing the best outcomes for young people.

  • Contract: Permenant
  • Salary: £24,798 pa pro rata
  • Hours: 18.5 hours per week - flexible, but some evening work will be required
  • Location: Hybrid - Beacon House (SK1, Stockport), School Based and Home Based. 

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who is currently in training or newly qualified in a mental health specialism and is passionate about working with young people to support their emotional wellbeing and mental health.
