Recruitment for Fundraiser

Beacon is a growing, ambitious charity and as part of this growth, we are adding to our team with the new role of Fundraiser.  We are looking for a person driven by values to make a difference in society. You will join our great team of therapists, clinical supervisors, administrative staff, and management.

Beacon Counselling is a registered charity and exists to improve the lives of adults, young people, and children affected by mental and emotional distress.  To achieve this we provide counselling and related services that make a big impact.

This is a fantastic opportunity as Beacon is The Mayor Of Stockport’s charity of the year for 20/21. There are numerous events already planned and further opportunities to develop these and other fundraising ideas. It is also a great opportunity for you to catapult Beacon’s profile and reputation and influence Beacon’s future development.

Hours               25 per week over 5 days

Contract          1-year contract

Start                January 2021

Salary              £30,000 per annum pro rata

Holidays          23 days per year (includes Christmas shutdown and rising a day per year to 28 days) plus public holidays pro rata
