Schools Wellbeing Worker 

This is a fantastic opportunity to be at the heart of a brand new youth service for Stockport .  This new service will change and influence mental health services for children and young people in and across the borough, and you will be a key to shaping how it develops and grows in the coming years.  Working closely with the Children's Services Manager and School Teams, you will deliver an Early Help & Well-being Service in schools in Stockport for children and young people.  

We are looking for an individual who has experience working with children and young people and a passion for improving their mental health, well-being and resilience. You will be comfortable communicating and presenting to a variety of audiences, and have experience facilitating group work with children and young people.  

We are looking for someone who is flexible and motivated to succeed through working autonomously and with others, has high standards of work, and is passionate about seeing the best outcomes for children, young people and their families.  

Employment status Employee  

Pay 24 hours per week at £25,000 pro rata  

Pension Automatic enrolment scheme with 3% employer contribution

Hours 24 hours per week (4 days) 

Holiday entitlement 23 days plus 8 bank holidays per year pro rata 

Contract Permanent (subject to references, satisfactory DBS check, and probationary period)
