We are recruiting for an interim Chief Executive as our current Chief Executive heads off on maternity leave from mid-January 2021. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced leader with sound judgement and the ability to problem solve to work with trustees and the staff team to help us deliver our mission of helping children in care and young care leavers to unleash their potential and to make the care system the best it can be.
With a track record in third sector organisational leadership, building, motivating and maintaining high performing teams and implementing strategic plans to have maximum impact, you will have extensive experience of financial management and in establishing and improving organisational systems and processes.
This is an important and exciting time for Become. Since the start of the coronavirus pandemic, we have seen a 75% increase in demand for our services and have been supporting hundreds of young people facing very challenging circumstances. This year we have also launched our new strategy setting out our ambitions for the coming years.

Salary: £65-70k pro rata
Hours: 35 hours p/w (flexible and part-time working arrangements considered)
