An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and skilled professional to join the Policy, Campaigns and Communications team at Become, working alongside care-experienced young people to drive meaningful change in the care system.
You will be responsible for coordinating Become's participation activity, ensuring that care-experienced young people's views are heard and acted upon by decision-makers, and that young people with lived experience of care are supported to participate in our policy, campaigns and communications activity meaningfully and safely.
You will have experience working with children and young people in a participation, youth work, education or other relevant setting. You will be a passionate advocate for care-experienced young people's views and expertise, and an energetic leader of engaging and creative participation work which respects and values lived experience.
