Volunteering Advisor
Salary: £15,437 per annum (FTE £21,612)
Contract: Permanent
Hours: Part-time - 25 hours per week
Based: The Lodge, Littlemore, Oxford

BBOWT’s work is made possible by both a dedicated employee team and our many volunteers. We recognise our volunteers contribute their time, skills and talents to the effective running of the Trust and as such, are committed to giving them the practical support they need to realise their full potential whilst reaping the reward of restoring nature.

The People Team are looking for a Volunteering Advisor to support the wider BBOWT team in ensuring volunteers are supported, feel valued and are an integral part of BBOWT culture. This post will undertake all the administration associated with that, and maintain and help develop the volunteer module of the Trust’s thankQ database.

The role will suit someone who is approachable, has a proven track record in administration and previous experience of working as or with volunteers. A high level of computer literacy is a must, with advanced skills in Excel and databases being an advantage.

The Berks, Bucks & Oxon Wildlife Trust is a membership-based voluntary organisation, managing over 80 nature reserves, influencing land management and educating and encouraging all sectors of the community to care for local wildlife.

The closing date for applications is 9.00am on Thursday 12th March 2020.
Interviews will be held w/c 23rd March 2020 at The Lodge, Littlemore, Oxford.
