How to apply
Deliver campaigns that make a difference for a school that changes lives every day.
Founded in 1866, Bethany is a registered charity and a remarkable co-educational day and boarding school. Occupying 60 acres of the magnificent Weald in the heart of the Kent countryside, we have a unique family atmosphere and nurture our 325 pupils aged 11 to 18 to develop their self-worth and tolerance for others. Supported by state-of-the-art facilities and underpinned by our Christian ethos, our students enjoy exceptional success in both examinations and extracurricular activities – and we have some very ambitious plans for the future.
Taking on a broad remit spanning everything from public relations to branding, you will ensure that all our communications are consistent, focused and persuasive. We will actively encourage you to think laterally as you devise an effective marketing plan, co-ordinate major external events and develop our UK and international pupil recruitment strategies to meet some stretching admissions targets – so your impact on our bottom line will be enormous. At the same time, you will commission and analyse market research to sharpen our competitive positioning, increase our outreach to the global market and manage diverse stakeholders including feeder schools, so every day will bring different challenges.
Fully versed in all aspects of marketing, ideally within an educational environment, you will be capable of delivering exceptional campaigns that generate outstanding results. Familiarity with CRM systems and market research techniques would be very useful, alongside experience of managing websites and social media, and you will be an excellent networker and team builder. Finally, you should be happy to undertake international travel and regularly attend out-of-hours events – and you will be ready to think outside the box to take our school to the next level.
In return, you can expect a highly competitive salary and excellent benefits including Benenden Health Care and 50% off our day fees for your children.
