Arden Place is a brand new supported living accommodation for adults with learning disabilities and autism in Tile Cross, Birmingham. Arden Place is a Bromford My Place Service. My Place, is a unique Supported Living model created to provide appropriate accommodation for people with long term conditions such as learning disabilities or autism. Bethphage are the care provider, providing on site care and support for people living at Arden Place and helping them to connect with their community through meaningful activity.
These brand new purpose built flats are designed to meet people's current and future needs, providing a safe and secure long-term home in the heart of the community. The scheme has 14 purpose built self-contained one bedroom apartments.
Arden Place has a community hub with a lounge, meeting room and kitchen which not only provides a social area for people living in the scheme, but it also provides facilities to deliver training, employment advice and activities to both the people we support and the wider community.
This great opportunity has opened up for an Assistant Service Manager in our Supported living services in Birmingham.
As well as supporting the service manager in Arden Place, we require you to also support with our established supported living services for four adults with learning disabilities in North and South Birmingham.
The people we support in all these areas have varying needs of support some of which require personal care. All services will be supporting people with Learning disabilities, Mental Health and Autism. The Assistant Service Manger will also be expected to support in all of these areas.
Evening and Weekend Work may be required as part of the role and participating in our on-call rota.
All services will focus on a person centred approach and promoting people’s independence
