BID Services is a charity. We work in partnership with children, young people, adults and their families and carers. We support people who are deaf, hard of hearing, visually impaired, have a dual sensory loss or other disability.
BID Services is looking for a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our senior management team. The Head of Operations will take on a key role, leading and managing day to day operations/services in line with the organisations strategic plan and contract requirements. Experience of leading a wide range of services and projects is essential.
As Head of Operations you will report to the Chief Executive and work closely with the senior management team. You will have experience within the health and social care/disability sector and a good working knowledge of safeguarding and relevant legislation including the Care Act. Ideally you will have experience as a practising social worker however this is not essential.
You will have a proven track record of delivering high quality services alongside effective contract management/compliance and performance management. You will need to be financially and IT competent with experience of working with databases and quality assurance systems. A commitment to co-production, co-design and delivery is essential.
A flair for networking and building relationships that lead to income generation and contract acquisition is also a requirement as you will be have to work closely with our Business Development Team to develop and mobilise new services.
