Bikeworks is looking for an Employment and Skills Lead Tutor to join our team, who will implement and further develop curriculum within our evolved and newly designed employment and skills programme.
Called the Cycle into Work programme, Bikeworks has created a joined-up ecosystem of opportunity internally of Bikeworks, and externally with our wider stakeholders, as we connect opportunities in the cycling sector to people across London, who find themselves unemployed or at risk of poverty, because of COVID-19.
We are a City and Guilds awards centre and Recognised Delivery Centre with newly designed pathways for young people and adults to receive the training and experience needed to progress into work. This includes Employability L1 and L2 qualifications, C&G L1 and L2 Cycle Mechanics, Cycle Maintenance Courses, 1st4Sports Cycle Training Level 2 Award, RPL routes for current instructors, Cycle Delivery specialist Cargo Cycle training, E-scooter Training and Introduction to Micromobility Courses.
Our environment is supportive and energetic. We are a small collaborative team, who deliver incredible social impact as a not-for-profit social enterprise. This includes being recognised for our work during lockdown, when we transformed into an emergency cycle delivery service for vulnerable and shielded Londoners.
The Employment and Skills Lead Tutor role is an important role to the team. The role reports to the Employment & Skills Project Manager and will work with the All Ability Cycling Manager, Bikeworks’ Internal Quality Assessor, and City & Guilds External Quality Assessor.
The client requests no contact from agencies or media sales.
