Bikeworks is looking for a Programmes Manager to join our team. This new role will be responsible for overseeing the impactful delivery of a growing portfolio of projects and activities. The role has been created to enable our CEO to step away from the operational day-to-day duties and lead on the significant development of Bikeworks. For the role to be successful, the Programmes Manager will work in collaboration with our Operations Manager, Finance Manager, and Head of Business Development, under guidance from the CEO.
At Bikeworks we target communities who experience significant and disproportionate inequalities, never has our role as a community-evolved social enterprise been more important, as we continue to live with the effects of the pandemic.
The new Programmes Manager will bring together some of our new and growing areas of delivery to ensure efficiency, connectivity and quality, while developing staff, freelancers and volunteers to achieve outputs and outcomes, at a time when Bikeworks is scaling and diversifying its delivery model.
In alignment, and working with our Operations Manager, the role will be responsible for the strengthening of our ‘eco-system’ of projects and activities, making sure each element works together to achieve Bikeworks’ mission, by promoting internal joined-up thinking and approaches to provide meaningful outcomes for increased physical activity, wellbeing and connectivity.
You will also support the development of our offer, assisting Bikeworks in growing its social impact by actively collaborating with the business development team, providing data and information, including case studies and other insights, to support our rationale and creation of compelling propositions. It is our expectation that as we grow, you will want to grow with us.
Our environment is supportive and energetic. We are a small, driven, collaborative team, who deliver incredible impact as a not-for-profit social enterprise. This includes being recognised for our work during the pandemic when we transformed into an emergency cycle delivery service for vulnerable and shielded Londoners.
