Bipolar is a severe mental illness characterised by extreme highs and depressive lows. Having the condition increases the risk of suicide by 20 times. Bipolar UK is the national charity for people affected by the condition. Our mission is to empower everyone affected by bipolar to live well and achieve their potential. This includes close friends and family.
This is an exciting time to join Bipolar UK as it is a rapidly expanding charity with big plans to grow its income and impact over the next five years. We are looking for an ambitious and talented individual who will maximise the opportunity presented by the Bipolar Commission and key strategic relationships. This will involve reopening and growing our network of in-person Peer Support groups, maximising the impact of our expanding digital resources and generating income and support from key partnerships and major donors.
