About The Role

Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you will gain valuable experience working closely with colleagues in departments across the organisation, primarily though not exclusively on main stage productions. 

Your remit will be to achieve sales targets by planning and implementing marketing initiatives that target new and existing audiences. This will involve organising direct marketing, advertising campaigns and other sales promotions including print, radio, outdoor, direct mail as well as digital activity to maximise effectiveness. You will be responsible for managing budgets as well as monitoring and analysing campaign effectiveness. You will also broaden your expertise by engaging with partner organisations, such as the Birmingham Royal Ballet and Welsh National to exploit in full joint marketing and development possibilities.

We want to be the best and are looking for someone with the passion and desire to create and deliver great work. Of course you will have strong communication skills and experience of working in a marketing environment in the arts, entertainments or attractions sector. A team worker you will be hungry to take on more responsibility where you can use your marketing experience to the full. This will include experience in creative copywriting, proof-reading, direct marketing, digital, design and print production. A marketing qualification would be a plus.
