BVSC is the lead organisation for the Birmingham Fulfilling Lives: Birmingham Changing Futures Together.
The Programme seeks to persuade people who commission services for people with Multiple Needs to change their approach to how services are delivered so that they are more effective.
We are currently recruiting for the following position:
Programme Coordinator (Maternity Cover)
Up to 12-month Fixed Term Contract
SO2 Point 32 - 34 £28,203 - £29,854 per annum
35 hours per week
Based at BVSC, 138 Digbeth, Birmingham, B5 6DR
The Programme Coordinator works closely with the Programme Director to ensure that the programmes’ business plan is delivered across a range of workstreams including:
• Every Step of the Way
• Training for Experts by Experience
• Inreach and Outreach
• Bridging Fund
• Other areas of responsibility as the programme evolves and develops - including legacy planning for responsible work streams
The successful candidate must have a robust understanding of the experience of adults with multiple and complex needs and understand how social disadvantage affects service uptake. You must also have experience in managing people with lived experience. The successful candidate must demonstrate excellent skills in managing and motivating partners and key stakeholders to achieve both organisational and programme objectives and have a proven track record of staff management using performance management techniques and maintaining partnerships across the private, statutory and third sector. They will have a proven track record of programme coordination and delivery in a dynamic and complex organisation.
