The charity

Bishopsgate Institute is the delivery arm of the Bishopsgate Foundation, founded in 1894 for “the promotion of the education of the public”. We are a small, independent charity with our own extraordinary premises at the crossroads of the City, Spitalfields and the East End. Our motto is “I grow old, but not lazy” and we apply this philosophy throughout our work. 

The role

This is a part-time role for 28 hours per week.  As a member of the Senior Team you will support the charity to achieve its charitable objectives by leading on audience development, customer experience, campaigns and marketing and the development of an integrated programme of activity.  All to specifically increase enrolments and bookings (including venue hire), strengthen relationships with existing audiences and customers and nurture new audiences.  

You will have skills and expertise across digital and offline marketing, PR and communications, campaign planning, tone of voice and visual identity management, integrated programming and events including ticketing, audience insight and analysis.

The successful candidate will also have experience working at a strategic level, well-developed people and performance management, robust budget management and forecasting skills and excellence in collaborative project management.
