Blind Veterans UK helps vision-impaired ex-Service men and women of every generation rebuild their lives after sight loss. Since 1915, we’ve provided rehabilitation, training, practical advice and emotional support to tens of thousands of blind veterans.
We are looking for an IS Project Manager/Business Analyst who will ensure the selection and implementation of new applications or enhancements of existing applications. You will influence and guide project members to ensure a favourable outcome of the project. Leading on the definition of Business Processes, scenarios and solution requirements for a given area of the business, you will also be responsible for determining how information technology can be applied to the benefit of the business and advise management accordingly. The post holder will then effectively manage the change associated with the technology projects.
As an experienced Project Manager/Business Analyst, preferably with a project management background, you will be equally comfortable gathering user requirements from our care teams in the Centres, as well as presenting new development ideas to the Senior Leadership Team.
The ideal candidate will have highly developed communication skills and the ability to develop effective and influential relationships at all levels. The post holder will also have a methodical and flexible approach to problem solving and experience managing large and complicated projects.
