Do you have the senior level fundraising expertise to make a difference to the 100,000 babies born premature or sick every year in the UK?
Bliss launched a new three-year strategy in 2019, as we marked our 40th anniversary as a charity.
As we progress the delivery of this strategy, now in the wider context of the challenges facing us in the new COVID-19 world, we are looking for an ambitious and inspirational Head of Fundraising to drive our income generation across each of our fundraising streams so that we can continue and grow our work to support babies, families and health professionals across the neonatal community.
We are looking for an exceptional candidate whose experience includes:
- A track record of outstanding fundraising performance, with a broad understanding of diverse income streams and the techniques required to deliver them
- Significant experience of individual giving fundraising, and at least one other area of fundraising, in a management/senior role, with extensive experience of successful donor acquisition, retention and income generation
- Excellent knowledge of marketing and communication tools and skills as they relate to supporting and driving fundraising activity, including audience segmentation, messaging to drive engagement, and use of digital platforms
- Experience of developing large funding bids, including responsibility for writing bids, building funder relationships, and attending pitch meetings.
This is a fantastic opportunity to lead a passionate and committed team across a diverse fundraising portfolio; and also to be part of the senior management team in an organisation which supports innovation and growth alongside delivering excellent supporter care and demonstrating real impact.
If you have the skills and ambition needed to make a difference to the lives of premature and sick babies, we want to hear from you.
