Contract, 18 months, Full-time
Job description

The Covid-19 pandemic has had a lasting effect on people living with blood cancer. New hope is in sight with the launch of the NHS Covid-19 Vaccination Programme. However, it is still unclear how well the vaccine works for people living with blood cancer.

That is why Blood Cancer UK has partnered with other blood cancer charities and organisations to develop a programme that will provide the answers our communities so desperately need.
We are now looking for a Programme Manager who can help us deliver this programme of activity.

Communications skills are key to this role, which will involve working closely with external groups such as blood cancer researchers, people affected by blood cancer, and other organisations such as blood cancer charities. You will work on behalf of the collaborative to oversee and manage every aspect of programme delivery, including: programme leadership, governance, research funding processes, communications and stakeholder management.

This is a great opportunity for someone with great people and organisational skills to co-ordinate and deliver a programme of work that will have real-world and immediate benefits for people living with blood cancer.
