Job description

We are looking for a Head of Information and Support Services to lead on developing and delivering excellent support and information services which meet the needs of people affected by blood cancer.

The successful candidate will have experience of developing and managing a diverse range of information and support services. You’ll have exceptional interpersonal skills and be emotionally resilient, hardworking and understand the value your role brings to the blood cancer community.

This role will provide leadership to the team ensuring they are able to manage competing priorities and challenging deadlines. The postholder will be a strong advocate for patients, understand their needs and ensure that as an organisation our services continue to meet these needs. They will be able to identify and develop new opportunities, but also ensure we continue to meet the day to day demands of delivering our existing services. They will be required to develop relationships and a collaborative approach with other teams in the organisation, particularly our research and policy and fundraising teams.
