BMS World Mission engages in mission in many diverse contexts around the world today. We are looking for the right person to take up an important post within the Department for World Mission. If you are passionate about mission and want to play a role in supporting it around the world, then this might be the role for you.
As the Mission Programmes Administrator, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to enable:
- The selection, preparation and debriefing of Christian mission workers
- The collation and updating of overseas recruitment opportunities
- The processing of overseas travel for mission workers, including booking flights and acquiring visas
- The maintenance of accurate records using an electronic database
We are looking for an individual with a desire to enable others to serve in cross-cultural mission overseas and a willingness to pitch in and be helpful in all we do.
You will have excellent administrative and organisational skills, be computer literate with MS Office suite and have good interpersonal skills, with the ability to relate well to all age groups. This is a stimulating, busy and very fulfilling role.
The successful applicant will be a committed Christian, as the nature of this role means that this is a specific occupational requirement.
