Bowel Cancer UK is the UK’s leading bowel cancer charity. We are determined to save lives and improve the quality of life of everyone affected by bowel cancer. We support and fund targeted research, provide expert information and support to patients and their families, educate the public and professionals about the disease and campaign for early diagnosis and access to best treatment and care.
We are looking for a talented new Head of HR to act as business partner across the charity, developing an excellent central HR service to meet the charity’s needs, and supporting every staff member to fulfil their objectives to make a direct difference for people affected by bowel cancer.
This involves developing and implementing a People and Culture strategy for the charity, including talent management, employee engagement, reward and recognition, learning and development, performance management and all supporting policies and procedures.
This is a unique and important opportunity for someone with a significant level of generalist HR experience at the level of Head of HR, Senior HR Manager, or Senior Business Partner within a fast-paced and flexible organisation, ideally within the voluntary or not for profit sector.
We are unashamedly ambitious and determined to stop this disease for good. If you share our determination and are ready for the challenge of a central role with the UK’s leading bowel cancer charity, we very much want to hear from you.
To apply, email your CV and a letter of not more than two pages explaining how you fit the person specification and why you would like this role.
