We are seeking an exceptional catering manager for the running of a small community cafe based within the Brain And Spinal Injury Centre, Salford. This is the re-launch of our cafe and the post has been funded over the next three years by a Natioanl Lottery Community Fund grant. Customers are clients, volunteers and staff but part of this role is to attract other customers from the local community to use the café in order to boost sales.
We are looing for someone who can achieve a high standard of healthy eating experience and food presentation. The post holder will have catering operational responsibiities including devising menus, ordering stock, training volunteers to help with preparation and serving, handling cash, record keeping. Ensuring that the cafe is a safe working environment, meeting all of the legislative requirements and working towards regaining our five-star rating with the Food Standards Agency.
