Job description

Breaking Barriers is a fast-paced, rapidly growing start-up with a mission to help refugees in London gain the knowledge, confidence and experience to get stable and fulfilling employment in their new home.  We work with corporate partners to help refugees find employment that matches their skills and experience and we are committed to making a real difference in people’s lives.

We concentrate on getting things done in a flexible environment where everyone is encouraged to take ownership and contribute.

We are looking for a senior fundraiser to join our team to help us deliver our new three-year strategy to further expand our services and help the many refugees who need our support. We consider philanthropy as a key area for growth and our focus is on building on our initial success to develop relationships with individual philanthropists and trusts and foundations as well as a stewardship and cultivation programme supporting the wider fundraising team.
