About the role
If you have a commitment to fundraising, experience and passion for high quality marketing, and a desire to work for the UK’s largest comprehensive breast cancer charity, then we would love to hear from you.
This role is focussed on the effective planning and delivery of our integrated Community and Events marketing campaigns to both warm and cold audiences. The Community and Events team is a dynamic part of the Fundraising team which covers a broad portfolio from sporting events such as famous marathons and cycles, to bespoke walking events, to skydiving, to organising your own fundraising in any shape and form.
You would be project managing marketing campaigns from start to end, from strategic planning, to briefing, to delivery and evaluations. We’re looking for a passionate and creative marketing enthusiast who is a team player, ideally with experience in the charity sector or a desire to join the third sector. You’ll have a great eye for detail, excellent project management skills, as well as a drive and determination to make a huge difference to those affected by breast cancer.
This is an excellent opportunity to develop your marketing skills in the world of fundraising in an exciting charity. To do this you will have a strong understanding of fundraising, a flair for marketing, with excellent multi-tasking skills and attention to detail. Helpful and collaborative in your approach, your marketing experience, combined with an interest in Community and Events fundraising is essential.
We’re excited to announce that in April 2019, Breast Cancer Care and Breast Cancer Now united to create one charity for everyone affected by breast cancer. From research to care, our new charity has people affected by the disease at its heart – providing support for today and hope for the future. United, we can carry out even more world-class research, provide even more life-changing support and campaign even more effectively for better services and care.
By bringing together our passion, energy, expertise, funds and networks, we will make greater progress in more effective ways to make sure that, by 2050, everyone who develops breast cancer will live and receive the support they need to live well.
Breast Cancer Now is an inclusive employer committed to developing a diverse workforce.
