Job description

The role

The Editor plays a pivotal role in developing and maintaining Breast Cancer Now’s highly regarded health information.

Working closely with our Nursing team, the Editor will lead on planning, writing and reviewing our extensive portfolio of digital and print information resources.

You’ll uphold our rigorous standards to make sure our information stays accurate, up to date and accessible.

Part of a dedicated Health Information team, you’ll help ensure people affected by breast cancer get the best information possible.

About you

You’re a first-class Editor with solid digital content and print publishing experience.

You should be skilled at developing content that’s accurate while putting the user first.

When someone is diagnosed with breast cancer, there’s a lot of information to take in and it can be complicated. You’ll be adept at making complex information digestible, and delivering it in the most appropriate format. 

You’ll be able to work collaboratively, whether it’s with our nurses to ensure accuracy or with our design and production colleagues to ensure quality, as well as to your own initiative.
