Job description

The role

It is our ambition to be recognised as the place to turn for breast cancer information and support and the Senior Officer role is critical to the success of realising this.  This role sits within the Brand Marketing and Planning team and is responsible for managing health information and services marketing campaigns which raise awareness of our breast health expertise and offer and support and enhance the brand strategy.

Working closely with the Public Health and Wellbeing, Services and Health Information teams the successful candidate will be responsible for delivering innovative and effective marketing communications which supports people living with breast cancer and the public to play a full role in their own treatment and care, diagnosing cancer earlier and managing their own risk of getting breast cancer.

The post holder will work across a full range of paid and owned channels to collaborate with both in-house and external, creative and media agencies to increase the reach and engagement of Breast Cancer Now’s health information by planning and implementing targeted communications and campaigns.  

About you

You will have good experience managing marketing campaigns and a demonstrable interest in health marketing. 

A well organised person with excellent communication skills, you will be confident managing external agencies and suppliers and an in-house studio, alongside internal stakeholders, all of which require excellent relationship building and stakeholder management skills.

Working across a range of media channels to deliver complex, multi-faceted campaigns, you will have knowledge of developing audience segments and developing audience led marketing and messaging frameworks.

Please note that whilst Breast Cancer Now is following Government guidelines regarding working from home, this role is based in London and the expectation is that once restrictions are eased that the post holder will be based within this office for the majority of the time.
