Job description

The role

A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join Breast Cancer Now’s small but high performing Philanthropy and Special Events team. The Trusts Officer will work alongside our Trusts and Statutory Manager and our Head of Trusts and Statutory to secure funding from charitable trusts and foundations. The role will be responsible for managing and growing support from small to mid-level value trusts, through compelling proposals and exceptional stewardship. This is an exciting opportunity for the right individual to use their skills, experience and enthusiasm for trust fundraising to make a significant difference for people affected by breast cancer.

About you

We’re looking for a proactive individual with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to work well independently and as part of a busy fundraising team. You will be an excellent written and verbal communicator, passionate about developing engaging funding proposals and building relationships with a diverse portfolio of charitable trusts and foundations. You will have experience managing a demanding workload and competing priorities, with the ability to stay calm, positive and work effectively under pressure.
