This new post of Executive Director will focus on raising the profile of Breck Foundation with the aim of increasing awareness of the educational programme and growth of the Foundations work. They will identify opportunities and secure further funding through stategic and commercial partnerships, sponsorship, trusts and foundations. Through effective leadership they will oversee its developmet into a robust and resilient programme, giving leadership to the Breck Foundation, raising its public profile and brand awareness through media and PR strategy. They will ensure all policies, procedures and systems are compliant with relevant best practice and legislation, as well as following Charity Commission guidelines diligently.
They will build strategic relationships with Ministers, political decision makers, and technology companies to influence future technology and safeguarding policy. They will build relationships with relevant NGO's, media and potential partners to grow awareness and campaigning. They will develop an ambassador/patron programme to enhance the profile and awareness of Breck Foundation.
Through organisational leadership they will advance on business and financial planning for the Breck Foundation whilst strengthening reporting of performance. They will support the board of trustees to ensure sound governance of the charity including management of risk. They will increase the resilience of the Breck Foundation, leading on the organisational development, staffing requirements, staff performance and working planning, team building, training and development. The will build the fundraising strategy and approach ensuring compliance with the Fundraising Regulator as well as securing a broad income base.
Through effective management they will increase the awareness and understanding for the programme with parents and children through proficient promotion and communications. They will hold oversight and development of Breck Foundation education progamme including the Breck Ambassador Programme to ensure the rigorous maintenance of quality standards across the programme.
They will be a passionate and proactive leader with a commitment to safeguarding children and building the charity to improve children's online develpment and resilience.
