Job Title: Schools Partnerships Manager
The Schools Partnerships Manager will be responsible for the continued development of Brightside’s Schools Network, forging new school partnerships across three key regional hubs and supporting schools to embed Brightside’s Online Mentoring into their interventions. The Schools Partnerships Manager has a dual focus: managing relationships with our current school partners to ensure a high quality experience with Brightside and working across regional hubs to secure new partnerships in this growing programme. The Schools Partnerships Manager will work closely with a Project Manager and our team of Engagement Officers to ensure the delivery of high quality and impactful projects in schools.
We are particularly interested in candidtaes with existing networks of schools/experience of working in our key regional hubs: Devon/Cornwall, South Yorkshire and the Solent.

We deliver programmes in partnership with schools, universities, businesses and charities, giving young people access to support networks, online careers information and high-quality mentoring. Our programmes include a wide variety of online mentoring projects, an active and growing volunteer network and our newest ventures: Brightside Connections and the Schools Network. We have developed these programmes to help young people navigate key transition points and so they have wide-ranging objectives including widening access to higher education, raising aspirations, pre-arrival and retention support for new undergraduates and the development of students’ employability skills. We believe all young people should have access to the same opportunities, no matter where they live and we strive to support those who need it most.
Salary and benefits
Contract term: Permanent
Hours of work: 37.5 hours per week, Monday-Friday
Holiday allowance: 25 days per annum excluding bank holidays.
Other benefits include: Three additional leave days over Christmas, 15 hours volunteering leave, employer pension contributions, flexible working hours and regular staff socials.
