BHN is a well established organisation with an excellent reputation for providing accommodation and support - making a huge difference in the lives of people seeking asylum in Bristol.
The successful candidate will be a confident manager, have strong interpersonal skills and experience of cross-cultural communication. They will be committed to BHN’s values and vision, and motivated to work in solidarity with destitute asylum seekers. They will need the skills, experience and motivation to manage our small but dynamic staff team, oversee our busy services and raise the profile of BHN.
We’re looking for a ‘people-person’ who is driven by their values and will invest in building strong relationships with our members (people seeking asylum), volunteers, staff and trustees, as well as working with partners and funders.
If you are the right person for this role, there is some flexibility around hours (from 26 to 37.5 hours) and responsibilities.
