Job Description

Are you looking for an exciting and challenging role to develop your skills and knowledge?  A fantastic opportunity is here for an experienced administrator to join a small team that will be responsible for establishing a new national cardiovascular clinical research network called the British Heart Foundation Clinical Research Collaborative (BHF CRC).

The British Heart Foundation Clinical Research Collaborative (BHF CRC) is a new initiative that is aimed at establishing and developing a national network to support the planning and delivery of world-class clinical research in cardiovascular medicine and surgery.

Over a three year period we will establish a successful structure to facilitate, enhance and coordinate the current clinical research planning of existing cardiovascular and surgical medicine.

The BHF CRC will provide administrative support and resources to a number of Clinical Study Groups with the aim of promoting excellence in UK Cardiovascular Clinical Research by engaging and involving all of the existing societies and ensuring nationwide visibility of the collaborative through an integrated website, national meetings, newsletters and other communications

The British Cardiovascular Society (BCS) is a membership organisation with charitable status and plays a pivotal role in the setting of standards and influencing the quality of cardiology practice throughout the UK.  It will be hosting the BHF CRC and therefore the postholder will be given a unique opportunity to work across both organisations and experience joint partnership working.

The BHF CRC Administrator will be responsible for the management and administration of all elements of the BHF CRC and clinical study group structure.  A key part of this role will be supporting the COO in a variety of activities from day to day office duties, specific project work and administering the BHF CRC website.

The role requires a highly organised, pro-active administrator with excellent planning skills, sound judgement, a can-do attitude, and the ability to assimilate complex information and synthesise it.

Don't miss this great opportunity to work in a small, friendly team, located in a spacious historic office building on Fitzroy Square in London!
