Job description
  • To ensure records are fully maintained and updated on a monthly basis
  • To ensure accounts are ready for independent examination purposes and to facilitate the process of filing annual account statements
  • Keeping all ledgers up to date, using Xero system
  • Monthly account reconciliations, including bank accounts
  • Working with the Development Director & trustees to ensure all charitable campaigns are appropriately coded for financial & management reporting purposes
  • Highlighting creditors for payment by trustees
  • Production of management accounts on ad hoc  basis, approximately 4x per year
  • Completing monthly payroll
  • Inputting into budget process & uploading of agreed budget into Xero
  • Helping align customer relationship management system to accounts package
  • Ensuring smooth handover from current third party for profit bookkeeping service provider
  • Managing & filing relevant documentation
