Do have experience of delivering projects or working within Mass Participation events? Could you use your marketing knowledge to drive the success of events for one of the UK's largest and best known charities?
If so, you might be the Fundraising Events Executive we need.
About the role
Here at the BHF we run a variety of events with 3rd parties for over 10,000 participants per year including the London Marathon, Action Challenge Ultra Series, Great North Run, Prudential Ride London and many more.
The funds we raise from these events underpins BHF's life-saving research.
To drive the success of events across a portfolio of 3rd Party events, we need a Fundraising Events Executive who'll be at the forefront of building relationships with event organisers and make sure we reach recruitment targets through engaging targeted marketing alongside stewarding participants to achieve our fundraising goals.
Joining a talented and ambitious 3rd party events team, you'll be responsible not only for managing key projects within your product area, including the marketing, planning and logistics of event activities, but also for the account management of existing partnerships. Identifying and pursuing new opportunities, you'll be focused on a range of events from our 3rd party events programme across an array of disciplines. The role will provide you with a lot of cross-team collaboration, so will enable you to learn from and work alongside a variety of fundraising specialists and build your skillset in an environment created for internal progression.
With demonstrable marketing knowledge and experience (ideally in a fundraising environment) you'll need to have:
* Strong time management skills and excellent attention to detail
* Experience of delivering projects
* Excellent relationship building skills to grow strong relationships with both internal and external partners.
Using your strong organisational and communication skills, you'll work with the Events Senior Execs, Product Manager and the Events Marketing & Stewardship Team to develop and improve our stewardship journey to increase remittance.
In return we offer a generous benefits package including flexible working, healthcare cover, dental plan, subsidised gym membership and substantial annual leave.
We research all heart and circulatory diseases and the things that cause them. Heart disease, Stroke, Vascular Dementia, Diabetes and many more. All connected, all under siege. Because our research is the promise of future cures and treatments.
