About the role
The Community Fundraising Products team develops and manages Community Fundraising products, such as Heart of Steel, schools fundraising products and in memory tribute funds.
Our products form a key component of the British Heart Foundation's Community Fundraising strategy, with ambitious targets to grow income in this area.
As Fundraising Products Manager, In Memory Giving, you'll lead in the development and management of community fundraising products and campaigns where the motivation is to give and remember loved ones, friends and colleagues.
We rely on the generosity of individuals and organisations to fund our life saving research, and we know that there is still much potential to develop the many and varied ways that supporters can help us reach this vision by donating to the BHF in memory. We're looking for someone with experience in developing engaging journeys and a clear understanding of supporters whose motivation is In Memory. You'll have managed substantial income generation projects from start to finish and you'll also have:
* Experience of working on integrated direct marketing campaigns across media channels, including print, digital advertising, email and social media
* Demonstrable marketing skills, a full understanding of different marketing approaches and an ability to use marketing to secure support across a broad range of channels
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to write effective copy tailored to different channels
* Good analytical and numerical skills with the ability to report on datasets and make informed decisions and suggestions for campaign/event progress
You'll be enthusiastic and personable with the ability to engage others when talking about a campaign/event - both to other members of staff and the general public, but you'll also have strong organisational skills with the ability to manage a changing workload to tight deadlines.
